Star Alliance Travel has always believed in helping its customers/users with the best possible assistance concerning airline ticket booking. This document precisely states the hassle-free airline ticket booking payment, cancellation, and refund policies, as traveling always involves some level of uncertainty that can lead to untimely booking and cancellation of the plan. Hence, we extend our support by initiating the transactions, cancellations, and refunds swiftly.
Payment Policy
- Charges appearing on your credit card could be in the name of the airline, any one of their service providers, or one of our consolidators.
- All fare adjustments and processing fees are charged by Star Alliance Travel LLC, and will appear on your credit card as a separate charge.
- If there are 2 or more persons on the booking of the flight. Charges on your credit card may be itemized for each customer by the airline.
- If the customer agrees and authorizes to pay the total charge as appearing on the final booking page, only then the transaction will be made by our sales representative.
- A valid phone number and email address are required to secure your booking. We require up to 72 hours to process all airline tickets. Flight tickets once confirmed will be shared with the ticket number on the email address by the customer. If you do not receive this confirming e-mail, then call (858-634- 5559) or send an email to Customer Service (customerservice@travelerhelpdesk.com) indicating you have NOT received the confirmation e-mail with the airline ticket number.
- Service Fees- Representation is not made for the service fee charged. It is only for booking creation and site usage. There is no representation or warranties for booking charges as well, except for using the assistance of our phone agent in searching for cheap airfares, and for making flight bookings. Service fees might change at any time and the updated fees may not reflect immediately. The actual service fee is reflected in the total price during the checkout. The customer has the right to decide against making the purchase if the final price is not acceptable.
- If in case any customer’s payment gets declined due to low internet connectivity or certain other reasons an alternate payment instruction will be received by him to authorize the payment. If not processed will be deemed as a canceled transaction.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
All bookings (except that of low-cost carriers) are entitled to 100% refunds in case of cancellation within 24 hours of booking. After a lapse of 24 hours, a cancellation fee/penalty is charged as per fare rules that are different for different airlines and tickets and some of the airlines are non-refundable. In case of domestic travel, if a refund is not initiated then future credit will be provided. Star Alliance Travel provides 24×7 backend support.
- All cancellation/refund processes involving airline ticket bookings must be done via phone only.
- Vacation protection insurance can be refunded within 10 days of purchase in case the travel has not begun, and the customer has called the customer service of the airline to cancel.
- Refund requests will be accepted only after the following conditions have been met:
- Traveler has applied for cancellation and refund with us, and the airline rules allow for the same
- Traveler should not be a “no show”. Most no-show bookings are not eligible for refund processing from suppliers.
- Waivers are secured from the airlines by us to process the request for cancellation and refund.
- For flight ticket refunds, it is difficult to provide the exact date or time. Once a request is raised, an e-mail notification for acknowledgment will be sent by us to the customer to confirm such requests. Upon receiving the confirmation, we work with the concerned airlines to arrive at a waived amount based on the rules of the airlines and then notify you of the decision of the airlines. Please note that we depend on the airlines to receive refunds.
- The entire refund process takes 60-90 days to reflect the amount in your original payment method.
- For refundable booking customers, a fee for processing the refund will be charged by Star Alliance Travel customer service. If the booking is made by us, the service fees charged earlier will not be refunded but no extra fees will be charged.
