The Website is exclusively designed with the sole purpose of assisting customers in availing travel information, finding the availability of flights, and making valid travel reservations.
Applicability of the Agreement:
Here in this “Terms & Conditions” document, “we,” “our,” and “us” refers to Star Alliance Travels and “their,” “customers,” “you” or “customer” refers to Customers/visitors/Users landed on the website with a purpose to avail travel-related services. Your use of the site signifies your acceptance of the regulations mentioned herein. If you don’t agree to accept the terms set forth, then it is advised to withdraw the use of Star Alliance Travels immediately.
Airline Ticket Pricing:
Being a service provider Star Alliance Travels enables the customer to purchase a flight ticket for his / her journey. The service contract between the Airline company and the Customer always lies between them for the utilization of the flight.
Airfares quoted are tentative and are subject to change at any time without any written consent. Ticket fares are only guaranteed if the transaction has been confirmed at the suppliers’ end. The aviation industry is highly dynamic, and the majority of air carriers change their fares without notice. In case, if there is any increase or decrease in airfares after a flight booking request has been made to us that affects your reservation fares, Star Alliance Travel will notify and confirm with you of the fare changes before taking any further steps.
Airline ticket charges are inclusive of the Base fare, Government taxes, and convenience fees applied by the airline companies. Advisable for the traveler to thoroughly check and pay the total amount before making the confirmation of their booking(s).
Fares of infants are subject to the age criteria under 24 months throughout the entire journey with supporting documents. Applied on both the to & fro Journeys. During the traveling, the infant became 24 months or above during the return journey, and a separate ticket needs to book by the customer. Any infant or children must be companied by an adult during the journey as per the guidelines by the airlines.
Confirmation
The customers are notified with a confirmation e-mail prior to issuing confirmed flight tickets. The notification sent to the customers in no way signifies that the booking has been completed, and the ticket is confirmed. customers are advised to wait until they receive a ticket number via email. Conventionally, you will receive e-ticket confirmation within 24-48 hours, and before 72 hours for flights to any international destinations. Any reservations or bookings are not guaranteed until ticketed.
Travel Documents
The traveler is responsible to carry his/her valid documents i.e. Govt. approved identity card, Passport, Visa, etc. to take benefit of traveling. Customers are solely responsible in case of any occurrence and in case of inability to travel for not carrying valid travel documents; Travelotickets.com will not be liable for such things.
Check-In Terms
We suggest the traveler must check the check-in timings directly with the airlines. Most of the check-in starts 2-3 hours prior to the departure based on the nature of the journey whether domestic or International flights.
One should carry his/her valid identity proof, passport, and age proof as may be asked by the validating officers, in case of checking Nationality, age including the infants to validate the same as right information on booking ticket.
Modification in Existing Booking
Due to any certain reason if a customer wants to make changes to an existing booking will be subject to paying the additional processing charges being asked by the respective airline’s company and the service fees charged by our representatives.
Subject to the change in schedule, flight route, change in time, and cancel flights or change in itineraries airlines may reserve the right without prior information to Star Alliance Travel. We are not possessing the right or control over such logistics grounds of the airline company and if in case there may be any direct or indirect loss to the traveler due to the change, we are not liable for such cases. Certain limitations and restrictions are imposed on the different tickets in the same airline. It may vary from class to class.
Baggage Policy and Fees
The airfare quoted by our representative doesn’t include any baggage fees. If the customer wishes to add check-in baggage, they shall be liable to pay an additional baggage fee to the airline at the time of flight reservation online or during check-in. Majorly, all airlines charge an extra fee for baggage, even if it is the first Check-in baggage. We suggest you travel light if you want to save these extra applicable charges. To find the baggage fees for each air carrier, please check the Airline’s Baggage policy page on that specific website. Baggage fees are determined by the size, weight, and pieces of the checked bag.
Based on the terms declared by the Airline’s allowance of Baggage shown on the ticket, Star Alliance Travel has no right to any changes. Some of the fare shown in the booking schedule is “Hand Baggage” which will not allow the traveler to free check-in luggage and as a result, the traveler needs to pay a separate amount for check-in luggage. The price of the additional luggage varies from airline to airline. It is advisable to contact the concerned airlines for detailed prices.
Refund On Booking
Considering the grounds of the airline’s fare Rules and cancellation policy the refund will be processed. The refund shall be obligated to Star Alliance Travel if the airline denied paying back after cancellation. Wherein the convenience/service fee which is non-refundable in nature shall not be refunded.
It is advisable for the customers to intimate the process of refund prior to any cancellation made directly with the airlines unless otherwise, Star Alliance Travel will not be responsible for any loss or occurrences. The time for refunds may vary depending on the mode of Payment made at the time of booking by the airlines. Subject to the deduction of service charges of Star Alliance Travel the refund shall be processed which is independent of the convenience fee.
The refund will be returned to the original account from where the payment was made. For example, if a customer has made a payment through a payment wallet or credit card, Star Alliance Travel will make arrangements for the reversal charges to the same payment account. The discounts and promo codes used at the time of booking would be deducted from the refund amount in the event of cancellation and refund of partially utilized tickets.
